I have always loved sci-fi movies and have a passion to write. As producing a sci-fi movie was out of the question, the next best thing was to write a sci-fi novel. In 2011, I retired from my job as an accountant in the City of London, with one of the world’ largest accountancy practices, and decided to follow my dream.
Since then I have written three sci-fi novels. The first novel, ‘Collision‘, was published in 2012. It’s about the after effects of a collision between a UFO and spy plane on those caught up in the investigation.
The second, ‘Alien Hothouse’, was published in 2015. It’s about a group of aliens stranded on Earth and living in a small community in a North Yorkshire village and the consequences of their rescue.
The third, ‘AndroDigm Park 2067‘, is due to be published later this year. It’s a gritty noir Sci-Fi based thriller, about the investigation into the murder of the CEO of the world’s larger cyber-tech company, who was killed during an Action Against Androids demonstration.
I like to write speculative fiction: realistic sci-fi based in the current day or near future. My books are available on Amazon in both print and kindle format. For more details, see the relevant pages of my site.
As any newbie author will attest to, writing a novel is no easy task. For those of you who might have read my novels, I hope you enjoyed the experience. For those of you that haven’t had the opportunity, but might be interested, I’ve included some extracts and details about the book on this site.
For those potential newbie authors that might wish to follow their dreams, take a look at my blog. There I share my thoughts on learning to become a story-teller. I’ve always been a writer, but becoming a story-teller was a new experience. In my blog I offer my support and encouragement to any potential new novelist. It’s hard work, but if you really want to do it, you can.
