I have always loved Sci-Fi movies. I was hooked from the time I first saw the Forbidden Planet as child.  Viewed today it looks a little dated. But it was the movie that inspired the Star Trek TV series.

The golden age of Sci-Fi movies for me must have been the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. I loved the great movie franchises such Star Wars I-VI, Terminator 1-3, Alien 1-4, Back to the Future  I-III. And in my view two of the best Sci Fi movies of all time were Blade Runner and Avatar. Yes, I know, the critics hammered Avatar, but the box office results speak for themselves.
